You think you're tough.

You think your cynical heart is as solid as hardened steel and impenetrable by even the sweetest things in God's wondrous creation.

But, when you hear the heartbeat of your unborn baby—you will cry. A tiny little nearly 9 week old fetus that only barely resembles a baby with a heartbeat as loud and as solid as a drum will paralyze you with awe while you stare at the tiny flicker that is the heartbeat coming from the tiny little chest cavity. 176 beats per minute is how hard Baby Wagner's little heart is beating.  I can still hear the sound. I'm going to bed with the soundtrack of my child's heartbeat still playing in my head.
