This past Saturday the girls from church had a baby shower for us and people gave us way too much stuff.

Then Sunday our friends and family had a baby shower for us and people gave us way too much stuff.

This Saturday I'll be building new shelves in the closet of the baby's room to hold everything.

The generosity of our friends and family doesn't surprise us because we know that it's just how they take care of the people around them.

But it feels strange when it's you they are providing for.

It's nice to know that these are the kind of folks my son will have around him as he grows up.
